A series of 15 differentiated resource books in five units containing follow-up work and reinforcement work for all the main topic areas of the Maths NC and the NNS at levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. Three books per unit - A, B and C. These books are at a different NC level to facilitate work with special needs pupils of varying ability. The A books are at level 1-2, B books are at level 2-3 and the C books are at level 3-4. The series is suitable for use as part of the Year 7 Catch-up programme. Three sample pages are shown below.
Record sheets with desired learning outcomes are useful for record keeping and planning a programme of work as each page is linked to the national curriculum.

The following 3 pages are taken from Unit 2 Book A: Calculations. This book like the Book As in the other units covers work at level 1-2 of the Maths National Curriculum. The Warm Up page is for pupils working towards level 1. The Race Ahead page is for pupils working towards level 2. The Tough Challenge page is for pupils at level 2 or as an assessment page for those pupils who have done well on the Race Ahead page.
